Tours Palcoyo 1 Day

Palccoyo is a new route, it is not very well known, and there are not many people. It is very likely that you will be alone with your group or with a few other groups. Your pictures will be better, and you will also see three colorful mountains instead of just one with the classic Vinicunca tour.

Itinerary

TOURS TO PALCOYO

We will pick you up from your respective hotel between 6:30 am and 7:00 am and then embark on a journey through the Southern Valley. We will make a stop in the town of Checacupe to admire the colonial suspension bridge, where you can take some photos, and if the group wishes, can walk across the suspension bridge. Here, you will have access to restroom facilities. We continue our journey to the village of Combapata (3,630 m.a.s.l.), from this point we will travel on an unpaved route until we reach the Palccoyo Mountain of Colors. Along the way, we will stop in the towns of Chiara and the Palccoyo community where you can purchase some souvenirs. We arrive at a point permitted for buses from where the colorful mountains can already be appreciated with a view of the Ausangate snow-capped peak.

We begin a brisk hike to explore the area and enjoy the enigmatic nature, where your adventure will be rewarded with unforgettable and wonderful landscapes. At the appropriate time, we will return to our bus to then go to the place where we will enjoy a delicious lunch. We return to Cusco via the same route, arriving in Cusco at 6:00 pm (Plaza de Armas).
